European Masters 2017

Sponsored by the Co-op Funeralcare for 2017 the European Masters is open to all members of the Professional Bowls Association. A straight knockout event of singles this event is unusual in that it only runs down to two semi finals. The winners of these semi finals will each then receive the Title of Co-op Funeralcare European Masters Champions and they will receive a guaranteed place into the first round of any WBT Ranking event held in the forthcoming season which also includes the prestigious Scottish International Open, the WBT Flagship event of the World Indoor Championships and the International Open.

The Partington Holidays Group have once again come forward and agreed to host this event at their Newton Hall Holiday Park in Staining, near Blackpool. This is a major event in the PBA Calendar and is not to be missed. It has been agreed that entry to the event will be free of charge for the public for all of the days so now is the chance to come and see some top class bowling from players from around the UK and Europe. No need to pre book and the there is a full bar and cafe so come and relax and enjoy the action!!

There are two sections -  with each section’s winner being given the reward with the much valued Tourcard Entry. Matches are two sets of 9 ends with a three end tie break if needed with the exception of the two finals which will be two sets of 11 ends and a three end tie break if needed.

On the Draw and schedules the Rinks that are marked as TV Rink as those matches that will be streamed live on the WBT Stream on www.youtube.com/worldbowlstour.
