Michael Stepney

Michael Stepney broke through into the World Bowls Tour Rankings in 2018 after coming through many attempts at the Professional Bowls Association qualifiers for the WBT Ranking events.

Playing mostly out of both the Falkirk and Carlisle qualifiers this meant that Michael had many tough qualifier days, often having to play as many as six games in one day. Exhausting work and he had to keep on his mettle to win through.

He has the respect of many of the Scottish contingent as being a tough and capable opponent on the rink and most certainly is not a player that any of the Top 16 want to come up against in the draw as he has all the skills and determination to win through those decisive games. Rising another 3 places in the rankings he will be one to watch for in the coming season of 2019-20.
