Danny Denison from Torquay, PBA Tourcard holder, had in recent weeks suffered from a broken leg and made the ultimate decision to return to events far too early. Arriving at the venue he announced he would have to bowl with the aid of a stick and would need the services of a wheelchair pusher and the supply of a wheelchair. Once this had been sorted he took to the rink to go up against 6 times World Champion, Alex Marshall MBE. It was very apparent within a few ends that Dennison was in no shape to truly compete at this level and Marshall just kept his concentration and in one hour took both sets 16,0 - 10-,2. Marshall goes through to face Jonathan Ross on Tuesday 6th in the second round.
