so far at the Co-operative Funeralcare Scottish International Open here at the Dewars Centre in Perth just had to be Mervyn King against qualifier Graeme MacDougall. The two players were battling each other with incredible bowls to the delight of the audience and the first set ended up as a 7 all draw. This battle continued into the second set and going into the final end of the second set it was 5 all. With one bowl left each it was King who was lying shot and with no space for a draw MacDougall played a fast runner and took the jack away from King’s bowls to take the shot away and claim the final victory of a clearly disappointed King. 7-7, 5,6.
