In the second semi final of the day it was Alex Marshall MBE up against England’s Jamie Chestney. Into the first set it soon became apparent that Chestney was on fire and Marshall was struggling a little to hold him at bay. Chestney did not miss amny and stormed the first set 4-10. Marshall regrouped in the second set and there was a good battle with the score tied at 8 all on the 8th end. Marshall played a great bowl in end 9 to take the set 9-8. Into the tie break we went and it was Chestney that played the bigger bowls and took the tie break cleanly in the first two ends. 4-10, 9-8, 0-2
