The first of the ‘Just’ 2018 World Indoor Ladies Singles semi finals was up next with Katherine Rednall from Ipswich was up against Scotland’s Lesley Doig. Rednall was 4,2 up by the end of the fourth and she was playing with deadly accuracy, her bowls nailing the jack and leaving Doig with nothing to go foRednall went to plaster the jack taking a single followed by a triple to go 8,2 in the lead. Doig was fighting back and took a double in end seven but it was Rednall that sealed the first set with another double in end eight to take the firt set 10,4.
Into the second set and Rednall started as she left off taking a full house of 4, Doig responding with a single on end two. Rednall taking a triple on end three, Doig again only managing a single against an absolutely on fire Rednall who finished off in great style by taking the next three ends with six shots to claim the set 13,3 and match and she goes through to the Final here at Potters Resort tomorrow afternoon Live on BBC TV.
