The day started off well for Stewart Anderson here at the Dewars Centre in the Co-operative Funeralcare Scottish International Open. He had a fairly easy victory over Alex Wen from Hong Kong. Wen struggled to find his weight and line on the newly laid blue portable rink in the first set. Although on a couple of ends he did hold shot for while it was Anderson that performed well and took the first set 11 – 2. Into the second set Wen managed to find a bit more stability but Anderson was not to let his work in the first set get undone. Despite Wen’s best efforts it was Anderson that went through and took the second set in a clean two set victory. 11-2, 8,3. You can watch the match on www.youtube.com/worldbowlstour.
